Excellent place along I90 on the way to Badlands or out. Food, service and atmosphere is amazing. Shakes and cyclones are out of this world. A gem of a place. Stop by here.
Friendly staff, great food. The whole family was happy with this place. Lots of different options for everyone and great ice cream. I tried some homemade rhubarb sauce in mine and it was amazing! Burgers were really good and huge! The kids loved the cheddar cheese balls, we had to order more! Highly recommend making this a stop!
This is a wonderful local spot. Our hotel staff suggested it. They have delicious grass-fed burgers and even black-bean for us vegans. :) My family loved it. Very small-town, but had something for everyone. Also, it's only open from May-August.
I'm on a road trip with my family and it was one of the best meals of our trip. We tried talking the owner into opening another restaurant in Wisconsin where we live. We'll be keeping our fingers crossed!
The front desk clerk at the Best Western recommended this place, and I know little local ice cream parlors like this can be hit or miss given the couple around my town. She said people wait all season for this place to open, and I can see why. This was one of the best burgers I think I've ever had. The onion rings were crisp and flavorful. I got a chocolate malt (which some places seem to have a really hard time with). This one was perfect. They seemed pretty busy when I went in, but I got my food quickly and it was still hot when I got back to the hotel. So fresh and really tasty. Do not miss this great little place! Even if you aren't staying overnight in Murdo, this is worth pulling off the interstate for.
If I could give this place 10 stars I would! Great service, the staff was extremely knowledgeable about gluten and cross-contamination. I had an awesome bacon cheeseburger on a gluten free bun. The portions are huge and an excellent value for the money. The ice cream is delicious too!
