Was the only place in town still open at midnight on a Saturday. Owner gave me a room for a reasonable price given it was Labor Day weekend. Room was very clean and owner was very helpful and a pretty nice guy. No complaints at all.
Excellent value. Hidden gem. One of the cleanest places I've ever stayed. Especially for the age of the place. Things are very well maintained. The owner was very accommodating and even helped with a last minute switch so I could bring my elderly dog along when I found out he was very ill and I would only have him a short time longer. I am so grateful for the owner's kindness. He also checked with us frequently to make sure we were comfy. And speaking of comfy... The beds were so nice. The rooms are small and no frills, but yes, very comfortable! Clean, simple rooms at a reasonable price. Highly recommend! Five stars!
Though it may not appear from the outside, the Iversen Inn had clean rooms, clean beds, very comfortable and a great price. I had a queen bed room for just myself. This place would seem to be a great spot for a young or older couple on vacation. Myself, I was part of a cross-country motorcycle trip and this place was perfect. Several other motorcycle travelers were here as well because you can park your bike right out in front of your room. Dan, the owner, was very friendly. The Star is right across the street which was great for meals. The Iversen Inn is not a bed and breakfast which is not what we wanted anyway.
Cleanest room i have ever seen in motel .comfortable beds,walking distance to food and drink,park out side your room. Not a chain.not fancy, cheap rates. A little gem on the prairie.
My wife, grandson and I stopped here on our way to the Black Hills. The owner, Dan, is a very accommodating host and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable with parking right in front of your room. We will most certainly stay here again when we are near Murdo.
